Candy Mel, the iconic voice of the now-defunct Banda Uó, releases her long-awaited solo album, 5 Estrelas . With 11 tracks produced by Nave and Fejuca, the album blends pop, brega, sertanejo and Latin elements, reflecting her personal and artistic journey.
The launch also marks the reactivation of the Let's GIG label and the new partnership signed with OneRPM.
The album title symbolizes an assessment of her trajectory, highlighting her roots and evolution. Candy Mel shared: “I wanted to tell a story, share with the world a little bit of my pop, my way. The name of the album translates what I wanted to reveal in this process: what I love, where I come from, what I have become.”
The album features special appearances by Liniker, MC Tha, Rico Dalasam and Jup do Bairro, expanding the project's sound diversity. Each collaboration was chosen with care, reflecting the complicity and mutual admiration between the artists.
“5 Estrelas” is more than an album; it’s a celebration of Candy Mel’s artistic freedom and authenticity. With lyrics that explore themes of self-love, sensuality and identity, the album invites listeners to embark on a unique sonic journey.
To complement the experience, each track on the album is accompanied by an exclusive visualizer, available on the artist's official YouTube channel, providing a complete immersion into the Candy Mel universe.
