Over the past few years, Lio, Lay and Machado have explored emotions and perceptions in songs that range from light to profound. In this new project, Tuyo focuses on the fundamental years of childhood, revisiting their first self-perceptions. This pile of memories recovers universal childhood experiences that, at the invitation of Apple Music's partner distributor, Platoon UK, are now transformed into songs on their new album, entitled Quem Eu Quero Ser .

Recovering moments like taking home a stray animal that you fall in love with, and having to deal with family dynamics in some way, was the starting point for Tuyo's research into its first memories.

“For us, the most honest and safe way to talk about childhood on an album would be to make it a tribute to our own, with the usual honesty,” says the group.

The questioning perspective that Tuyo has imprinted throughout their discography is applied in the new album when discussing methods of punishment, revisiting naivety and reconstructing the dilemmas of that period in their lives, for example. To create the album, Tuyo explored new musical genres, incorporating references from childhood, such as Milton Nascimento, Bjork, Tears for Fears and anime openings. "This album is our attempt to understand childhood in the first person", concludes the band.

I love how this album turns childhood memories into something both honest and musical. When I was deep into exam season, I remember relying on Nursing exam help service while feeling nostalgic about simpler days, which made me realize how much childhood shapes who we become. Tuyo’s focus on early self perception feels comforting and reflective. Revisiting those early emotions can really help us understand ourselves better as adults.

I read the post about the new children’s album and it really made me smile thinking about how music can help shape who we want to be as we grow up and explore new sounds. One time I was stuck on a long essay and I used hire someone to edit law paper to clean up my writing, and that made me feel more confident like finding a fun new song on a tough day. It showed me that a bit of help can make big changes in how we learn and create.
